Have the above model, very loud noise sounds like the auger or some type of squealing noise coming from the ice machine. Turned the ice machine off and it stops, yet still very loud. It is intermittent. The noise sounds like metal and is compromised when the ice tray is placed back on. The unit is top over bottom. There is no loss on temperature both Freezer and or Lower box area. Obviously the issue is the ice machine itself. I can not find a schematic diagram of the ice maker unit to find out what part is creating the noise. Anyone have this issue or know where I can find a repair manual?
