Hey, I had ice under my crisper drawers like 8 yrs ago. i wrapped the heating element with copper wire and poked down drain hole. fixed the issue for years.

now, it is doing it again.

tested the drain line - clear at bottom
tested heating element - good resistance
tested thermal fuse - had continuity - 0.5 ohm or so
tested temp sensor - reasonably close resistance values for Samsung chart
tested bi-metal defrost thermostat - closed at room temp or when placed into cold freezer for
an hour - always has continuity? would that cause the issue? how?
ordered a replacement from this site - tested it - always has continuity again!!! bad too right? - am getting a replacement for the replacement now. it should read open when at room temp right?

maybe my board is bad too and the constantly closed thermostat is not the issue but will result in a warm freezer once i replace the board?
