I was repairing the clip holding the start switch on my GE dryer. The dryer was running while I was gluing the clip as I forgot to unplug the dryer. Yes, I know stupid. Unfortunately, the start switch slipped and the wire hit the frame of the dryer. Sparks flew and the dryer stopped. The break did not open. Any ideas on what may be wrong or how I should troubleshoot?
