This fridge has recently started cycling the compressor on and off way too often. Checking the temps, the freezer is about -5 degrees f and the fridge is about 40 degrees f. I checked the start/run capacitor and the compressor according to the specs and all is good there, and the compressor runs. I have removed the panel on freezer side and there is some frost, but no huge ice build up. And both the compressor and evaporator fans are operating. I heard it run thru a defrost cycle yesterday and that seemed normal. It almost acts as though the fridge side is starving (so to speak) but the freezer side is getting all the cold. Any ideas what could be going on or what else I can check? The machine is about 13 years old so I don't want to completely rebuild it, but if it's something simple it could save us about a grand! Thanks in advance.
