The problems started with the washer not working when trying to use hot water. It would work fine if using only cold water. When trying to run a cycle with warm or hot water there was a buzzing sound that I tracked back the hot inlet solenoid. I went thru the diagnostics and it was F8E1, which I assumed a slow water fill since no hot water was coming into the tub. I ordered and replaced the fill valve. After putting it all back together it is doing the same thing as before, and the hot water solenoid is buzzing again. The only I can figure out is that the new full valve is bad. Need help diagnosing this.

Rule out bad solenoid by switching the power wire from the hot and cold solenoid. Run just a cold cycle, if you get the same issue (buzzing) on the cold valve it's a power/connection/wire/controlboard issue not a solenoid issue.
