Hi All, I have an electrolux french door refridgerator/freezer combo with just an ice maker. The ice maker stopped functioning, so I checked the water line - ok, replaced the water filter - ok, replace solenoid valve assembly, and am now stuck. I could replace the entire ice maker assembly, but that seems wasteful. I have checked power on the connector for the ice maker and am reading 120 VAC. The weird thing that I noticed is with the on/off switch for the unit. When in place, all three terminal (NC, NO, COM) are all shorted together regardless of the position of the switch. When I remove the switch from the assembly and test, the switch is functioning normally. I think there must be a short somewhere - anyone else have this behavior? Any tips and tricks are appreciated.
