I'm repairing a PRD486EDG/04 and have a question on how the relays energize to power the broiler coil. As the main oven is heating, it energizes relays K1 and K3 which switch L1 and L2. As the oven heats, I see it cycling K3 while K1 stays energized. Is this normal operation? The reason I ask is that the K3 relay had failed and I replaced it on the main control board. I just want to understand whether this cycling behavior is expected. It seems that when the oven is heating, say for "bake", the broiler coil would not cycle until it hits the desired temperature.

Thanks.
