I bought a house and it came with dryer. It works but the timer doesn't move. It just stays on and running hot. My question is do timers normally move down the timer like my previous one? Maybe I'm paranoid but I'm fairly certain it's stuck. I set it to 10 on timer and waited at least 15-20 minutes. I would go ahead and buy a new one and replace but if I'm wrong and I install it then I just lost $112 bucks. It turns off if I force the knob to off position or if I open door. Any insight would be appreciated. Model is 110 62922100... maybe this is common for this model? I've read timer issue is uncommon but just afraid too waste that much money.
