Our dishwasher Whirlpool WWDT790SAYM3 started making a whining noise at the start. There is a point near the end of the wash cycle when it does it again. I'm not sure what is happening during the different times in the cycle. It sounds like pump noise but not being completely familiar with dishwasher cycles I'm not sure. It starts right away when the washing starts. After that point you can hear the typical churning sound of the water going through the spray bars and such.

I'm assuming there is one pump for filling and the same one for draining. Could be the pump is whining but I'm wondering if others have heard something similar.
