Model Number: LG WM2688HNM

The washer stopped mid cycle. It is still full of water. There wasn't anything on the display. I tried resetting it by unplugging the washer and holding the start/pause button for 5 seconds. I then opened it up. I am not getting continuity through the fuse. The board has a potting compound on it. I watched a youtube video where a tech said he scrapes the potting compound off and solders a new fuse on. Has anyone tried this before? It appears that they do not make the part anymore. I even tried ebay. Does anyone know of a replacement part that would work?

Thank you
