Refrigerator is about 2 yrs old, no probems until today. The cold water dispenser in the door worked fine early this morning, then later started dispensing water extremely slowly; just a dribble.

I'd appreciate any troubleshooting suggestions. I hear the usual faint "buzzing" sound from the dispensing solenoid valve in the door, so it's not dead, but I'm wondering if they can "sort of" fail & only allow a restricted flow.

I'm thinking of disconnecting the water line from the valve in the door, & seeing if I get strong flow when I turn on the supply valve. Is this a reasonable plan, or are there better & more likely things to check?

Thanks!

OK, problem solved. The fridge has an inlet valve at the bottom in the back, in addition to the 2 valves for the water dispenser & icemaker in the door. By sequentially disconnecting the water lines & checking flow, it appeared that the valve(s) in the door were the problem. In planning to check the voltage going to the door dispenser valve, I pulled out the circuit board attached to the touch panel. Just on general principles, I removed & replaced each of the 4-5 electrical connectors on the board before going any further, and the problem was fixed. Must have been some minor corrosion, looseness, etc., on one of the connectors.

Never would have expected it to be so simple.
