Hi - my heater coil burned out on my dryer. We ordered the part, and replaced the heater assembly. It now makes heat, but when it was turned on, it made a weird thumping sound as it rotated. I advanced the timer to "off" to shut it down, and it wouldn't shut off. When I opened the door to stop it, it made the buzz noise that the timer usually makes when it's done. I should mention that when we put it all together to test it, it seemed to work fine. Then we moved it back into position and it started this. Any suggestions?
Thank you for any help.

Update: fixed thumping. Loose back plate. Timer just keeps going around. Cool down cycle works, but it goes past off and starts next timer section.
