Hey everyone,

I have a Whirpool Cabrio HE top-load washer, model WTW8500BR0.

I've had it for a few years and it runs fine, except I'm now getting a leak when the Fabric Softener cycle begins. I've checked and cleaned the basin (wasn't much in there), to no avail. at the end of the cycle there isn't any fabric softener left in the basin and it seems to be properly going into the tub itself. Still, the leak happens only when the Fabric Softener is being watered in.

Is there something obvious I'm missing that should be checked? I haven't yet found where the leak is occurring; only WHEN it's occurring.
