Hello,

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model: 66514043k010

My problem began with cycle not completing, I manually drained suds *** times. I then received "Motor Does Not Respond to CCU communication on WIDE Bus" error, after that the display would not operate so I replaced the control board. I am now able to start any cycle, but nothing happens at all (no noise) even though it will time through the cycle on the display.

It still randomly displays the motor does not respond error. One thing I didn't do was replace the thermal fuse that came with the control board, it had different (and shorter) connections so I left the old one in place.

My question is, do you think if I replace the fuse it will fix the error, or does it sound like I need a new motor? The motor is around $250 (+ technician) so I was trying to avoid it, I'm already $230 in but the washer was $1450, so I don't want to trash it.

Greatly appreciate any help,
Chris
