I have a Maytag Washer - Belt Driven LAT9356AAE. It just suddenly became very noisy when in agitation cycle. Spin cycle works fine. When I looked, it is acting like a clutch is slipping. The agitator is moving back and forth but if I grab hold of it it will stop the agitator from moving and get louder. I cleaned up the belts and they seem to be OK. I also checked the clutch retainer key on the bottom of the machine and it seems to be ok. Maybe some adjusting to be done here....? Any thoughts what could be going on? I had it apart and did a lot of work on it 3 or 4 years ago, so I am not against digging deep.

Thanks
Neal
