I cannot find any info using the given Model Number.
Model number looks like it needs 3 digits at the start.

What would it take to do this?
Often there is a kit to do this.

Would I just need to remove the sides/enclosure and just unhook it from the external hose connections, or is it alot more complicated?
It is more complicated but not all that difficult in most cases.
I would not do it unless the portable was in excellent shape.

Is it worth the effort?
That I cannot say, if the kit is available then it is just a matter of time.
