Hey All,

I would like to convert my Kenmore Ultra Wash III Portable to be a built-in unit. I want it to replace a failing dishwasher currently in place (built-in). What would it take to do this? Would I just need to remove the sides/enclosure and just unhook it from the external hose connections, or is it alot more complicated? Is it worth the effort?

Thanks!,

I cannot find any info using the given Model Number.
Model number looks like it needs 3 digits at the start.

What would it take to do this?
Often there is a kit to do this.

Would I just need to remove the sides/enclosure and just unhook it from the external hose connections, or is it alot more complicated?
It is more complicated but not all that difficult in most cases.
I would not do it unless the portable was in excellent shape.

Is it worth the effort?
That I cannot say, if the kit is available then it is just a matter of time.
Below is an example of a conversion kit, note that it is for a Maytag unit.
Part number: AP4110873

Digging up the Owners Manual...looks like the model is: 3373965 Rev A. The other model # I got, was from the inside door of the unit...

It appears it maybe easier to just sell this unit (that works great) and buy another one off craigslist and keep my fingers crossed its not a P.O.S.?

Thanks again!,

Bob
