Out of the blue, my dryer will not function. All of the lights come on, and I can change settings, but nothing happens when I close the door and push the start button. I have made sure that the door is indeed closed. I am thinking that it must be the start button that has malfunctioned. Not sure that it is worth replacing on a dryer that is 12 years old. Is the part readily available and if so, is it expensive? My husband is out of town and I am trying to figure out whether to start looking for a new dryer or not.
