Double oven, at least 10 years old. Has worked fine until......

Cleaned oven yesterday using EasyOff. Left it on about 4 hours.

AFTER wiping everything off, and spraying a few still black spots on the top oven and closing it up for another soak. The BOTTOM oven has decided to come on by itself. According to my laser , it’s at 250*. The top panel where you turn it on and set temp is blank.

The oven will turn off if I set a temp in the bottom, then turn it off again. But it comes back on 30 minutes or so later.

Any ideas?

BTW, I use Appliance Parts Pros ANY time I need, well, appliance parts. Great prices, quick service.

Dunno if that will get me help faster, but it’s worth a try. But it’s the truth!👍

Well, turned it off at the breaker box for a few days, turned it back on to use the top oven..... and it’s fixed. Well maybe not fixed, but it ain’t broke either. 😎
