I am guessing the actuator or the clutch assembly but I have a Maytag with commercial technology that I have not found anyone with this problem online. Model mvwc565fw0. The issue is in both spin and rinse modes when the washer attempts to switch to high speed it faults and either the spin or rinse (depending on what cycle it is in) lights flash. After a few seconds the lid lock light goes off and the lid releases. No the lid locked light never flashes. Canceling a wash will still drain the water and wash cycle (agitate) works fine. So basically in slow speed it works fine. I guess what I am asking is should I take the agitator out and drop the tranny/motor assembly to check the brake or is it more than likely something else. I did just start a wash with 1 rinse instead of 1 rinse with fabric softener to see if anything changes but I doubt it will.

It did not work in regular rinse mode either. As soon as it got to rinse and tried to go high speed it stopped and rinse light started flashing. This is even with an empty tub.

I get F7E1 error. Everything says to remove jumper j16 but this board has no j16. He'll there isn't even a diagnostic sheet or wiring diagram in this thing. The board is W10885320.

So I got into diagnostics and went to wash/done lights. I moved the agitator and lights don't flash. Actuator?
