Just purchased and want to remove packing tape but can't seem to remove the crisper drawers from the glass shelving above. Manual says to extend and lift - tried that - much the same as our old fridge - did not work. Called Frigidaire customer service. Same thing, extend drawer and lift. Anyone have any hints? To me, it looks like they put the stopper too far back - thus not allowing the drawer to come forward far enough so you can lift but maybe there is some trick I am just not catching on to. We have completely removed drawer and the glass shelf it is attached to to see, but no help.
