I have an older Thermador gas range/oven model # prg304us.

The oven burner ignitor was replaced and it has been discovered to not be getting and power when the oven is turned on. The red light above oven knob comes on when the know is turned. The broiler lights just fine.

I'm assuming that there is some component upstream of the oven burner igniter that is bad or has been shorted.

Can anyone tell me the components in the oven burner ignitor are and what possible could have failed?

Thanks in advance.
