I had to replace my FRIGIDAIRE LFFH21F7HWJ door gasket

I bought Frigidaire 5304507208 Freezer Door Gasket Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

I kept in in hot water for few hours.

Replaced it, noticed there is no magnet to hold the door closed

I through that there may be a defect in the new Gasket, I put back the old gasket, there is still no magnet.

Any advice is appreciated
