I have been chasing an issue with this fridge where the refrigerator, at times, will be 50 degrees, and the freezer will be above freezing. When the refrigerator is working fine and cold, I do not see abnormaly or uneven frost on my coils in the freezer. This tells me that there is no issue with leaks or compressors. I have replaced the defrost timer, and the defrost thermostat on the coil. The heater is in working order. I have noticed that when the refrigerator is running warm, a quick 'tap' on the temperature control usually causes the compressor to come on and we're back cooling again. I hate to throw parts at it, but I'm kinda lost and so far, have improved the problem but not fixed it.

Is there a way to troubleshoot the cold control or can I be sure that's about all it can possibly be at this point?
