It is 22 years old, model 4688290. There is power to the unit. The water had all drained out but the clothes still had lots of water in them when it stopped. The washer makes no noise. Any suggestions. It may not be feasible to repair but we want to make sure. Thanks for your help.

The washer had a comforter in it, and the washer could have been unbalanced prior to it stopping. I was outside at the time. Is it possible that there could have been some electrical connections in the machine that shook loose?
