10 Year old washer. Starting the machine the door locks. THen it might unlock and lock again. Drum rocks in one direction just a tiny bit. A little water or none at all enters the machine. Makes a couple funny light banging type noises. Then the drain pump turns on for a couple minutes. I pulled the machine from the wall and there is black dust on the trim wood along the floor and on the top of the electrical outlet. Took back off and belt and motor look clean. Not sure where all the dust is coming from. Ran the diagnostics. everything seemed to work except anything that involved the drum spinning. Moved it by hand on the pulley and it seemed smooth. The only error code I pulled was an E 54, motor drive failure. Pulled off the front panel and all electrical connections looked clean. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, wife is getting anxious!
