I suddenly had a ton of ice build up in my bottom drawer freezer, LG LDC22720ST. I thought it was the gasket so I purchased a new one from here and installed it on Monday. The ice problem is not fixed, and the new gasket doesn't touch the body of the fridge at the top of the freezer drawer. It seems to along the sides and at the corner. I've attached a couple photos. Can someone help me figure out what's going on? Is the new gasket not expanding properly? Or is it another issue entirely? Thanks so much. alp16 attached the following image(s):

I was wondering if you ever figure out the problem? I’ve been having similar issues. I have a lot of frost in the back, but also my ice maker is freezing on the inside. The water gets frozen and won’t come out. We’ve changed tubes, filters, inlet valves.

Does your refrigerator have a little door that lets ice out? They can get stuck or break and that can let a lot of air into the fridge, which turns into frost.
