Freezer is too cold - Refrigerator Warm.
I replaced the Defrost Timer. The cooling coils are free of frost and the small fan is working. I cleaned the condenser coils underneath which were covered with years of dog hair and dust, etc. I think that was my major problem. The condenser fan seems to be operating fine. I will keep an eye on it.
My side-by-side is working better now. The super-hot "Yoder Loop" is not hot anymore.
However, the Freezer is still -10 degrees at its warmest setting, and the Frig is good but set near its coldest setting. Air is moving from the freezer to the Frig side.
1) Do I need a new Thermostat? Is that the same thing as the Refrigerator Control? 2) Will I harm anything if I keep the unit running as it is now?
