I have repaired most all parts on my Roper washing machine in an attempt to save money from not having to buy a new washing machine. Recently out of the blue my washing machine made a horrible noise and was not spinning. After researching and checking the clutch there was no movement with the clutch therefore I purchased a new one and replaced it. After replacing the clutch I had agitation but then came the horrible noise with draining the water prior to the rinse cycle and no spinning. I have already previously replaced the water pump, the direct drive coupling, the motor, and the lid switch along with the clutch now. I did check the springs and they are all intact. I do not want to continue to replace parts if my machine has outlived its life but I also do not want to spend a lot of money on a new machine if there is a simple fix for this one. I would appreciate any advise I get. Thanks.
