Our new home came with washer and dryer, which would be great, except for an invisible issue with the dryer. When it's nearly done a bell rings, every few minutes. I think it happens probably 5 or more times before the dryer finishes and buzzes, but I find it so infuriating I never let it go that long.

If you had nerves of steel, or were out when the reminder bells happened, and nobody opens the dryer door, it will start back up on it's own, complete with bells, after sitting for 30 or 60 minutes (I'm not sure, it only happened once)

My ideal dryer would have no buzzers or bells, but it's the bells that really make me crazy.
I read the manual. It doesn't even mention them, at least in the manuals I was given.

I'm good with tools and electronics, and bad with sounds. Please help! I just want to be able to set my laundry and forget about it at night again...

The bell that is bugging you is located on the side of the timer.

You could remove the bell or deaden the clapper with some tape. Whatever makes you happy.
