Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/15/2018(UTC) Posts: 2		I have a dryer as described. The motor will not start with the drum and belt attached. With the drum and belt removed, the motor will start, but VERY slowly. Motor start is ten seconds (with no load) before the hold relay kicks in. The motor is brand new -- a Whirlpool replacement motor purchased at a Whirlpool parts dealer locally. I have replaced the circuit brkr for the dryer, as well, and have 245VAC across the contacts at the outlet. Any help would be very much appreciated. Strat
