I came home from work today and smelled gas in my laundry room. I quickly shut off the gas supply to the dryer and vented the room. When my wife got home she told me that the clothes were still a little damp and smelled like gas. I assume the pilot light went out. Can it be relit?

To my knowledge there is no pilot light on this model dryer. It has a glow bar that ignites the gas. You are probably seeing a leaky gas valve and should not continue to use this until the problem is corrected.
