I have a Kenmore Elite, King Size Capacity, Heavy Duty, Quiet Pak II, 3 Speed Motor with 6 Speed Combinations, top load washer, age unknown. Most of the time it will not spin during the spin cycle. It drains and it sounds like it's spinning but does not. If I rearrange the load so that it is evenly distributed and balance the tub (I use a level on the agitator) it will spin and there is no issue with wobbling or noise. I am prepared to do simple repairs if I can isolate the problem.
