It seems to go through it cycles, but it sounds awful. Initially, the sink where it drains to backed up. I ran the garbage disposal and that seemed to clear that up. But it sounds like a bassoon in the very bottom of the machine. I took the bottom pieces off, and it appeared to be free of any debris. Please help.

After further review, I’m not sure what is making the noise. I’ll try to describe the cycles.

• you hear water run, and then drain through the garbage disposal.
• you hear water, then the “bassoon sounding” noise.
• then it enters a long wash cycle and it sounds normal.

Any thoughts?
