Hey there

I just replaced the water valve switch on my Frigidaire FGHS2631. The door water dispenser had been barely dispensing water. I'd read that a glass of water should take 4-8 seconds to fill--mine took over a minute! So I disconnected the water supply and checked its flow, which was strong. Ordered the valve, installed, and it now takes about 18 seconds to fill a glass. The water filter is only a couple months old.

Is this a reasonable flow? Is there something else I can check? I've also got a dead ice maker (the second time it's died) which I'd read the motor can burn out if the water supply is restricted and too-small cubes get stuck.

Did I mention I hate this fridge?

Thanks
tom
