Here is a pic looking inside the metal vent tube, you can see a plastic connection that appears to be disconnected. I checked because of a minor burning smell and if it's disconnected like I think then I imagine the dryer is full of lint. I also posted a pic of what the inside of the dryer should look like that i found. Mine is electric though. If you guys agree, how difficult would it be to open this thing up, realign that blower and fasten it down? Everything else works ok on the dryer, it just doesn't collect much lint and dries a little slow. Oh and the blower still blows strong https://imgur.com/gallery/7brYq

I fixed it. Go through standard steps of taking off front door panel then saw that metal sleeve vent was fallen off. Must have been years, took it outside and blew it out with a leaf blower, cleaned, realigned metal sleeve and pushed tight to seal, had to bend metal clip on back of dryer where aluminum floppy tube would attach, reassemble done
