I accidentally dropped a metal fork down the lent vent, and can't reach it to take it out. My husband opened the back but could not find an access to the vent area. please help thank you.

Is the fork magnetic? You might be able to use a wire with a magnet attached to it to pull the fork back out.

If you watch this video it will show you how to remove the front of the dryer and get to the vent. Tipping the dryer forward might slide the fork back to the front, so you can reach it with a magnet
