Hello - I found solutions to the fan coming on when I searched your site. I cannot find a specific answer to my situation though. I have replaced all three door switches with new ones. This is what I am seeing.

  • Inside light stays on all the time. Even if I disconnect all three door switches.
  • Inside fan comes on when door is closed and goes off when door is open.
  • Microwave operates properly when selecting time to cook, but the light and fan stay on all the time with the door closed.

I've searched for this specific situation but can't find anything. I saw a vague reference to a possible fuse, but no direction.

Thank you for any help you can give.

My guess is one or two relays on the main control board have their contacts stuck together. Sometimes you can tap the relay and it will "open" the circuit.

Most likely you will need a new relay or a new board.
