Our GE Profile Spacemaker II Sensor is built into our kitchen cabinets and I can't find another one of the same size. When you start to use it, it seems to work correctly for 1 to 2 seconds then it makes a much louder buzzing noise and does not heat food. This sounds like it may be a simple fix, like the Diode? But I'm not sure. I would really like to fix this one rather than having to modify our cabinets to fit another one. I am a service technician on large format print systems so I'm sure I can fix it with a little direction. Thank you in advance for your help, Dave

That loud buzzing noise could just be a bad diode, but in all my years experiance, it most likely is a bad magnetron. When replacing the magnetron, you will want to change the diode as well, because most the time the magnetron takes out the diode.
