Magtag washer security lid lock key breaks off then goe’s flying

Hello we have a Magtag cloths washer Bravos XL

washer security lid lock key breaks off then goe’s flying can this safety feature be disabled?
If yes how is this done include step by instructions/procedures/links to videos ect. ect.

anyone here know how to either electrically bypass this key for the lid?

I tryed to tape it in its hole w/ packing tape then washer won't start

just a fancy flashing POS $1000. Magfag light show

response from mayfag basically they wrote fix it
