Managed to locate latch mechanism at rear once the rear panel was removed.(cord disconnected). Tried to reverse the upper/lower oven latch connections to verify part failure. Wire leads too short. finally disconnected wire rod from accuator and manipulated the latch to open the top oven. I have ordered Appliance Pro replacement part but am concerned as to the simplest method to remove the original part and put in place the replacement. How long does it take for a novice and is there a simple solution?
