Kenmore Elite Model 110.67032601: Hello, I continue to have dryer SHUTDOWN Error CODE is F 31
[ apparently by overheating ] when dyer shuts down, I use a Temp measuring gun getting 275 degrees at heater outlet inside dryer I have REPLACED the heater coil 3 times [ 2 had broken wires after over heat ] I have REPLACED 8557403 inlet THERMISTOR HIGH LIMIT STAT twice I have REPLACED thermal fuse 8318314 twice I have completely disassembled the dryer CLEANING OUT [ blower fan - dryer vent & hose ] I have BLOWN out the dryer motor with air I have CHECKED ALL above components with Ohm meter [ ALL ARE WHERE THEY SHOULD BE ] Have so much money & time sunk in this, don’t want go for a new one.. ANY help would be appreciated
UPDATE: I can dry clothes on LOW HEAT with NO shutting down, does that mean I have a problem with 220 ??

275 is way too hot. It shouldn't get above 175 F. A wiring diagram would be helpful, but I think its your control board. I think the relay is welding its contacts together and heating all the time. I'm pretty sure that if you buy the part from here... Whirlpool WPW10111617 Electronic Control Board - AppliancePartsPros.comAnd it doesn't work, they will let you return it. I would ask them just to make sure.
