The control panel for my Kitchen Aid undercounter diswasher is located at the top of the door and is operated when the door is open. Intermittently the control panel buttons will not light up and can't be used to start the dishwasher. After opening and closing the door several times the control panel will operate again and I can set and start the unit. Is there a connection loose to the control panel or is this some other problem? Thanks!:confused:

I wonder if your door switch/latch is going bad? Here is a video about it. It looks like they may have made some changes to the part. Perhaps they had problems with the original parts.
