Kenmore 600 series washer. Won't fill on any cycle. Motor overheats and trips thermal overload. To me it seems like a timer switch issue. Any suggestions?
Timer switch ~ $50. Worth replacing?

If you set timer to spin will the washer spin? Have you tried setting water temp to hot, warm then cold to see if that makes a change?

Does not fill on any setting, hot, cold, or warm.
Does not spin or agitate in any cycle. Motor just
stalls until thermal trips.
