The other night I notice my water heater had tripped, so the incoming water to the dishwasher was cold. However, I was under the impression that the heating element should attempt to heat the water anyway. The water was room temperature. Not even luke warm. There are no visible breaks in the heating element. Is there anything to test other than pulling the wires from the element in the back and testing for continuity? What about the thermal fuse? CHeck that? Is there a way to check the control board?

I'm trying to avoid buying parts I may not need. Thanks!
