The oven ignitor will not light was told it was the control panel so I purchased one and installed but to no avail it still won't light. After this I was looking at wiring and noticed wire connector on the element had a burn on it and notice wire had shorted into. So I cut the connector off and used hi-temp butt splices and reconnected. Still no ignitor, also vavle has 120volt on one side and nothing on other and across them nothing can you help? (I then put screw driver across leads on top of valve and ignitor came on)
