thanks to this board i discovered that my evaporator fan was bad. replaced it but the new fan runs continuously. i have raised temp setting watched condenser fan and it never stops though not always warm to the touch . so more going on. new fan had thermostor attached so it should be ok. not sure how to test the main board but resistor r43 appears discolored i get a reading of 2.2 ohms on it and r27 but cant find schematic of board. that is the only thing that looks discolored on board. is that enough to indicate burned or bad main board? refrigerator fan will stop running in proper temp 35deg. freezer never gets to 0deg. gets to 1 but if i set the temp to 5deg fans continue to run.

any help is greatly appreciated.

The condenser fan is part of the motor which helps keep it cool by taking the hot air from working parts and pushing it out of the working environment. If the fan isn’t shutting off there could be several reasons.
