Kitchen aid kdfe104dsso dishwasher, not cleaning well, making noise

For the last few months the dishwasher has not cleaned well. It fills up with water and it drains. It makes a clicking, rattling, sucking, and cavitation like noise near the circulation pump and or drain pump when it is running at different points during the cycle. I just took it apart on the kitchen floor. No blockages or anything visibly broken. Pondering buying a new circulation pump, but this one may be okay. Don't know how to check. Impellers are intact on both pumps. Washer used to clean well. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Craig from VA.

It starts making this rattling sound immediately upon turning on dishwasher and filong with water. Not sure if water inlet control valve has anything to do with it but I can feel the clicking resonating through the bottom underside of the tub where pumps attach when I put my hand under there.
