Our ice maker leaks out down behind the dispenser area, fills the drip tray and (if we don't keep a paper towel there) down the front of the fridge onto the floor. The ice near the front of the ice maker stays wet and melting. We have had service techs come out at least six times trying to stop the ice maker from leaking on this unit purchased last December. They have replaced the ice maker and other parts. Nothing has worked. In looking at models in the store (Lowe's) I notice that none of the Frigidaire models (which have the ice maker exposed in the refrigerator part of the unit) have a gasket to seal the space between the bottom of the ice maker and the top of the ice chute on the door. All other manufacturers seem to either have the ice maker completely enclosed in the door, or they have a rubber gasket which seals the door-to-ice maker gap, thus keeping warmer air from getting into the ice. Why does Frigidaire not realize this is a problem? Their most recent excuse is that if we used more ice more often, it wouldn't have time to melt and we wouldn't notice it. UUUGGGHH!!!

Ours is doing the same thing. Did you find a fix? We tried defrosting and now it doesn’t work at all 🤨
