Just purchased this Whirlpool washer from my daughter's best friend. It was in storage a couple of months before we moved it to my house, and none too gently I might add.

Installed it yesterday and everything was hunky-dory until it hit the final spin. Inner basket began rocking violently back and forth, kind of like it wasn't in sync with the outer tub. When I turned it off, I could actually move the basket with my hand. Any ideas what part or parts I might need and what I should look for; I'm fixing to pull the machine apart now. On fixed income and can't afford the service calls or repair prices right now. So far I received advice that might be a spring or the outer tub assembly. Quite a bit of difference in cost there.
