Hi, My neighbors are on a limited income and I'm hoping to save them some money. The centrifugal switch is clearly sticking occasionally. When it sticks, the end-of-cycle buzzer stays on indefinitely, and turning timer-dial causes a cycle to start immediately (instead of waiting for start-button).
The question is, can lubrication (grease, graphite,?) be used to rejuvenate the sticking centrifugal switch mechanism?
Can you point me to a video which shows the lubrication procedure?
Thanks/Cheers.
BTW: The model is Whirlpool LGR563...
